A house of good observance

Scanning the morning 'paper, Chewing his bacon and bread, `Says here it's Maundy Thursday, — What's that?' he said.

`Don't know. But something about, The Queen and giving money out', Pre-occupied, washing her child's feet.

Then, shopping in the High Street, Something locked her Mind like a seized-up gear.

She saw stars, bright rings.

The doctor Said: 'Nothing to fear.

Best just to get on with things'.
