which the expenditures are set down at 1,363,576,248 francs, and the ways and means at 1,327,784,417 francs.

Baron Fresmin Dumesnil, former Member of the Legislative body, and Deputy for Coutanees under the Restoration, lately died in that town, in the ninety-third year of his age. He had commenced his military career under Louis the Fifteenth, and assisted at the siege of Gibraltar.
