POSTSCRIPT.

DEATH OF THE BISHOP OF DURHAM.

A TELEGRAM by the British and Irish Magnetic Telegraph Company informs us that the Bishop of Durham died this morning at a quarter past seven o'clock. The Hon. and Rev. Henry Montagu Villiers was youngest surviv. ing brother of the Earl of Clarendon, and was born in London in 1813. Educated at Westminster School, and elected to a scholarship at Christ Church, Oxford, he graduated B.A. in 1834, and took the degree of MA. in 1837. After taking holy orders, and exercising clerical functions in Lancashire, and as Vicar of Kenilworth in War- wickshire, he was, in 1841, presented by the Crown to the rectory of St. George's, Bloomsbury.
