Civil war would be the inevitable Sequel, because they would regard war as a lesser evil than subordination to the Dublin Parliament. English Unionists could do nothing to prevent war if this is all the Government haVe• to offer. But we cannot help thinking that there is nevertheless the material for a settlement in the case even as stated by the Daily Chronicle.
