On the 30th ult.. at Binuliam House, Bedfordshire, the Rev. PETER S. H. PAYNE, A.M., Fellow of Balliol College. Oxford. the youngest sou of Sir Peter Payne. Ban. On the 6th inst.. at Langley. Bucks, the Rev. W. G. FREEMAN, Rector of Milton, and formerly Fellow of Kings College, Cambridge.

On the 8th inst., drowned while bathing, at Torquay, Devon, the Rigid Hon. Timbres

PEREGRINE COURTENAY.

On the 6th June, drowned, in Malta Harbour, Lieutenant J. MERRICK FOWLER, Adjutant Eighty-eighth Regiment, fourth sou of Captain Fowler R. Merrick Fussier, of Wainscots House. near Reading. in his 21st year. At Bridliugtou Quay, Yorkshire. of scarlet-fever, Rev. RICHARD JACKSON, Wesleyau Minister, in his 43d year. A few weeks ago, of the same disease, a daughter, in her 13th year; and a few days ago, a son, in his 5th year. At Great Whelnetham, Norfolk, Mr. Joins ANDREWS, in his 100th year. His faculties remained unimpaired until within a few weeks of his death.
