The Magazine of Art. (Cassell and Co.)—This bound volume for

the first half of 1897 has many interesting articles and well- produced pictures, notably the photogravure of Lewis's " Lilium Auratum." It is a pity that second-rate wood-blocks still find a place in this magazine.
