S. Hewlett. "Goodwill Art Series," No. I. (Hibberd.)—This little book is illustrated with good process reproductions of fourteen pictures. The notes upon these are for the moat part sensible and interesting, and suited to the object of the book, which is written for beginners. It is a pity, however, that the author has swallowed the teachings of Mr. Ruskin in regard to Michelangelo and RaphaeL
