Holidays in Spain. By F. R. McClintock. (Stanford.)—Thie little volume

contains some account of the tours made in Spain by the author, and, we believe, his wife, in 1880 and 1881. He was so- delighted with his experiences, that he is anxious to induce others to. go and do likewise. M. Tchihatcheff tells us that Spain is the only country in Europe which has mach that is non-European and old- world about it, and commends it to any one desirous of a complete- change. And this is essentially Mr. McClintock's conclusion, and we have no doubt that readers of his pleasant narrative will wish they could follow his example.
