The Human Instincts in Business. By A. B. Fitt, MA.,

Ph.D. (Melbourne and Sydney : the Lothian Book Publishing Co. Pty., Ltd. 3s. 6d.)

This is not a profound treatise on a highly important subject, but a series of popular lectures for business men with no technical knowledge of psychology. In general the state- ments are sound though elementary. Whether they would all hold water in an expert discussion is irrelevant. The point of view is what matters and that is excellent. Any business man, great or small, could learn a good deal from Mr. Fitt's little book, but he should not be content with this alone.
