Sts,—Tbe trials as to which your correspondent "Stultus" asks for information are evidently the Three Trials of Wiltaim Hone for publishing three parodies—viz., "The Late John Wilkes's Catechism," "The Political Litany," and "The Sinecurists' Creed." The first trial took place at the Guildhall before Mr. Justice Abbott on December 17th, 1817, and the second and third trials before Lord Ellenborough on the 18th and 20th of the some !eolith. Hone was acquitted in each case. I have looked through the report of the trials published by Hone himself, but can find so trace of the conversation between the Judge and the defendant to which your correspondent refers.-1 am, Sir, Ac.,
