Double Dutch

Sir: For the record, the plant which Grin- ling Gibbons used for abrading his carvings is Dutch rush — not `Dutch iris', as unaccountably appeared in the title of my article (Arts, 6 October), and not the sinister 'Dutch rash' your typesetter had me mentioning later on.
