[To TER EDITOR OF TEl " SPECTLTOR."] SIR,—During the last few weeks we have had a number of "great speeches" from the politicians on the war ; but, I believe, not a single word of apology to Lord Roberts and the other men who have for years, in the face of sneers and insults, urged upon the said politicians the necessity of an adequate Army; not a single word of admission that, after all, these
