Justice for Prussians

Sir: Occasional reports on the dreadful 'ethnic cleansing' of a mere couple of hun- dred Serbs or Slays contrast strangely with the absolute silence about the 50th anniver- sary of the total cleansing of East Prussia by Poles and Russians between 1945 and 1948.

A total of 12 million Prussians were driv- en from their homes, 2 million of whom were murdered, some even crucified, many raped and maimed; they were cleared from home, land, even hospital, their property confiscated with no compensation. When will the new World Court call for justice and the prosecution of the perpetrators of this vast crime?
