We have to notice a new edition of A Wonder

Book, by Nathaniel Hawthorne (Ward, Lock, and Co., is. 6d.), a volume in the "Youth's Library" published by that &M. We are quite aware that ,when a volume of this size is published at the moderate price mentioned above, it is necessary to cut the expenses as closely as possible. Yet it would have been well if a brief account of the original publication could have been given.—Also of Hudibras, by Samuel Butler (Greening and Co., 3s. net), with an Introductory Note by T. W. H. Crosland, just over two pages long, and mainly occupied with some quite irrelevant and foolish remarks about reviewers.
