No. 1469: Fab vibes

Increasingly our language features barbar- ous words that are truncations or abbreva- tions (not acronyms). You are invited to write a poem (maximum 16 lines) which includes a good sprinkling of them. Entries to 'Competition No. 1469' by 24 April.

The top winner of this and the next five competitions will receive, in addition to the prize money, a bottle of Mumm's Cordon Bleu Champagne through the generosity of Mr Gaston Berlemont, the governor of the French House, Dean Street.
