Messrs. Marcus Ward and Co. have sent us a very

pretty selection of Christmas cards. Their birds, and dogs, and animals generally are beautiful, as well as their flowers ; and we confess that we prefer them to the ostentatiously cheerful and gorgeous children, pretty as those often aro. Their cards aro certainly among the prettiest of the year.
