- Numerous as are the editions of this setting of POPE'S Ode, we know of none that has the author's name. It was composed by a Mr. HARWOOD, of Liverpool; a man of some musical taste, with very little musical knowledge. The original composition is full of mistakes, most of which are corrected in the present arrangement, and so far it is an improvement on preceding ones. The introduction is appropriate, but the accompaniment is not in the best taste.
