Nornma beyond the ordinary daily exercises of the Queen and the Royal Family has occurred at Windsor this week. The Queen and Prince Al- bert have driven out every day. Amo-ur the guests, have been Lord Aber- deen, the Duchess of Sutherland, the E irl > nd Countess of Ellesmere, the Prussian Minister and Madame Bunsen, Lord and Lady Mandeville, the Honourable Charles Murray, and Professor Sedgwick. The fourteenth anniversary of her Majesty's wedding was ushered in Yesterday morning by the customary music of the military band on the East Terrace. In the evening the Queen entertained a distinguished Party.

Mr. J. G. Middleton submitted for her Majesty's inspection, on Mon- day, the portrait which he has painted of the Emperor of the French.
