The revival fever is not, it seems, quite removed. Dr. Fitzgerald, Bishop of Cork, Cloyne, and Ross, is at direct issue with a portion of his clergy upon the subject of extemporaneous prayer meetings, or re- vivals, similar to those which had agitated the North of Ireland for the better part of the year just closed. He prohibited them from attending such meetings, and has addressed a long and sensible letter on the sub- ject to the laity of his diocese.
