" ENGLAND'S DEAD."

in THE EDTTOR Or THE " SPECTATOR."]

Sia,—With reference to the letter in your issue of last week, some of your readers may remember that a poem under the title of "England's Deed," by the late Frank Taylor, appeared in The Spectator of June 12th, 1915. This poem, although pub- lished during the Groat War, was written at the' time of the Boer War. So the thought of those who have died for England has ceased to be written at least three poems under the same

title "England's Dead."—I am, Sir. dr.0„, Groner TAYLOR. i8 Carlton Hill, N.W.
