Sts,—As an inscription for a War Memorial I suggest the phrase from the King's letter to the relatives of the fallen: " They passed from the eight of men by the path of duty and self-sacrifice." This has been adopted by a Presbyterian church here, and its acknowledged appropriateness is a tribute
