EXHORTATION BY POSTMARK

Sm,—Whilst agreeing with the views expressed by Janus on the futility of the " Distinguished Career—Nursing " stamping face, I should like to support the maintenance of its near relative—the " Blood Donors Urgently Needed " variety. Matutinal reminders of the blood shortage have im- pelled me to part with a pint of my own. The fact that (in view of sub- sequent physical discomfort) I now regret my response in no way lessens the evidence in favour of retention of the stamping face.—I am, Sir, your

obedient servant, Davm SKINNER.
