Moore by Mr. Raymond Mortimer, who comments on the mediocrity of Moore's verse, but tries to show—with little success—that Moore was at heart an Irish rebel. Signor Benedetto Croce's estimate of Flaubert is interesting. Mr. C. Wilkinson writes in praise of Gilbert and Sullivan, and Mr. Shanks subjects Mr. Wells as a novelist to very severe criticism.
