It blew a very heavy gale from South-east at Algoa Bay. 26t1, Aug. during which the following vessels were driven on shore and wrecked viz. the Delhi. Byron; Elizabeth Rowell, Wake ; Laura, Crockley; and Seagull. Marray ; crew of the Delhi saved; several of the crew of the Laura and Seagull drowned. The Priuce Albert was wrecked at Pletteaburg's Bay on the night of the 29th Aug.
