At a Cornwall tenantry court, last Tuesday, it was stated

that Pane° Al- bert, as Chancellor of the Dutchy, had set to work a mine in St. Ann's parish. It did not clearly appear which mine had been taken in hand by the Prince, but it was supposed to be one called Polberro. The employment thus given to the miners promises to make the Prince very popular amongst them .

It is said that the Queen has signified her intention to confer the honour of knighthood upon Mr. Elkanah _Armitage, the late Mayor of Manchester.

The Gazette of last night contains a notice from the Speaker of the House of Commons that in fourteen days he will issue his writ for the West Yorkshire election.
