We have received a new edition of Gulliver's Travels, by

Jonathan Swift (Blackie and Son). It is, we are told, a reprint, with the exception of some coarseness, of the original edition. —Tales front Hans Christian Andersen. (Edward Arnold.)— The translation is that of Madame de Chatelaine. The illustra- tions are by Mr. E. A. Lemann. The tales have not before, we are told, been "adequately illustrated." Perhaps so ; yet we have an idea of having seen some illustrations of merit before these. Some of Mr. Lemann's strike us as too academical ; others are decidedly vigorous. On the whole, we seem to want a little more quaintness.
