SECRET COMMISSIONS AND BRIBERY.

OF THE "SPECTATOR."] SIR,—The Mansion House Conference, which was held under the presidency of the Lord Mayor of London, to further the efforts of the Secret Commissions and Bribery Prevention League, Incor- porated, in making known the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1906, and in enforcing its provisions, has resulted in many inquiries. It appears that the existence of the League, which has a considerable membership (the Right Hon. Sir Edward Fry being President), is still unknown to many, and I shall be grateful if you will allow me to state that I shall be pleased to send full information about the League to any of your readers who may be interested.—I am,
