NOTICE.—When " Correspondence " or Articles are signed with the

writer's name or initials, or with a pseudonym, or are marked " Communicated," the Editor must not necessarily be held to be in agreement with the views therein expressed or with the mode of expression. In such instance, or in the case of " Letters to the Editor," insertion only means that the matter or point of view is consi2lered of sufficient interest and importance to warrant publication.

The Editor cannot accept responsibility for any article, poems, or letters submitted to him, but when stamped and addressed envelopes are sent he will do his best to return contributions in case of rejection. Poems should be addressed to the Poetry Editor. The Editor requests writers of letters to express themselves as shortly as possible. The pressure on his space is greater than ever before. A short letter has a better chance of being published than a long one.
