Everyone else pollutes

From Madeleine Cutts-Watson Sir: H.O. Mounce (Letters, 21 October) has completely missed Charles Moore’s point. He says his mother never travelled far out of her home town; but if, for example, someone had started up cheap return coach trips to Cardiff and she took advantage of this for obvious reasons (convenience, accessibility, affordability), how does he think she might react if someone (who could afford to have his own chauffeur-driven car) decided that the coach trips should be banned or the prices driven extremely high because he considered them a polluter?
