COMPETITION

Competitors are invited to use the following ten words, in the order given, to construct part of the script for either a play, musical, pantomime or film; up to 140 words may be added.

The words: affected, curiosity, blushed, con- ceive, smell, saucily, conferring, crawl, eye- sight, shadowy.

The words are taken from the opening lines of a well-known play, and in addition to the usual prizes a special prize of one guinea will be awarded to the first entry opened that correctly identifies it. Entries, marked 'Competition No. 522,' must be in by 20 October.
