PARTIES AND CABINETS.

Sra,—May I correct a misprint, or error of some sort, in my letter on this subject ? I did not write, "Look, again, at the action of the Government in the way of individual exclusions." I have no copy, but I may have written "such government," or "party government," or even "the system." My writing, I dare say, will make either error easy and venial. But the con- text shows that I was not charging such " exclusions " on any Government in particular,—though they will, of course, be seen most often where and when party feeling is strongest, and party organisation most strict.

One or two other verbal errors, of slight importance, may be left to the reader, but this seems to deserve a correction.—I am, Sir,
