The reports of the potato crop are not more threatening

than they were last week : the disease seems to be general, but not virulent. The corn harvest has commenced in the Southern counties, on the whole favourably, notwithstanding the late wet weather. The reports from the Continent promise a generally good yield of cereal produce.
