Miss. MITFORD has published a miniature of the Anzericart Stories.

Three charming little volumes have just made their ap- pearance, as green, fresh, and beautiful as the first indications of spring, which are just now bursting from the long-con- fined earth. Really, the Americans seem to understand writing for children better than we do : except in the works of Miss EDGE- WORTH, we should in vain look for so clever and so amusing a little collection as the one before us.

Miss MITFORD does the authors of these tales an injustice in not indicating the source from whence she has drawn them.
