THE SIXTH OF JUNE

SIR,—Quoodle might have added to his catalogue of 'Little Did I Know' that while Quoodle was DAQMG of the 50th Division the present member for Bosworth was DAQMG of the 3rd British Division. They must have met each other at various staff conferences in Normandy but neither appears to have made enough impression on the other to have-his presence recalled.

Incidentally, may I say how much I admire the detailed memory of the Normandy invasion displayed by Quoodle and upwards? After twenty years about the most I can remember is that it was all rather alarming.
