Mr. Webster will take a farewell benefit on Monday, previously

to his retirement from the Haymarket Theatre. For something like sixteen years he has fought a good fight in the cause of the drama ; and if his farewell be not duly honoured, it will be an instance of very bad man- ners on the part of the London public. After Easter, he will devote his sole energy to the Adelphi; which, we believe, has proved much the more successful of his two speculations.
