The rivals

Sir: Nicolas Walter complains (5 March): 'I have been a fairly indefatigable writer of ,letters to editors (since about 1948) but I have never achieved a rate of publication of

more than two or three every week.'

Well, well, he got two in last week's issue of the Spectator alone, one under the name of Arthur Freeman, of 84B Whitechapel High Street (the premises, you know, of Freedom Press). How are we to know which other correspondents are also Mr Walter? Is there a copyright on his pseudonyms? And by what name should he be entered in the Guinness Book of Records?
