Mr. Borthwick and Mr. Rushout had a hostile meeting on

Tuesday evening; the authorized account of which is given as follows by Cap- tain Biddulph, Mr. Rushout's second.

Windsor, Stay 911i. "Mr. Rudiout, M.P., having called on Mr. Borthwick to explain some ob- servations made by him at a public dinner at Evesham which Mr. Borthwick declined to do, a meeting took place between those gentlemen yesterday evening. at Wormwood Scrubs. After the second discharge, the seconds intetfered ; sal Br. Borthwick stated that he was perfectly ready to withdraw any obser- vations which reflected on Mi. Rushout's character, being couvineed that he had made use of them under misapprehension."
