[To THE Esrros OF THE "SPECTATOR."] SIR,—As you have given circulation to Miss Cobbe's state- ment that "the Victorian branch of the Royal Society of England" has come to certain conclusions in reference to Pasteur's proposed method of extirpating rabbits, you will perhaps allow me to state that there is no branch of the Royal Society of England in Victoria, or, indeed, anywhere.
