The Queen has been pleased to direct letters patent to

be passed under the Seal appointed by the Treaty of Union to be made use of in place of the Great Seal of Scotland, granting the office of her Majesty's Solicitor- General for Scotland to Adam Anderson, Esq., advocate.—London Gazette, Nov. 11.
