THE chief incidents recorded by the Court Newsman are the arrival of the Prince and Princess Frederick William at Windsor Castle, and the celebration of the birthday of the Prince of Wales. The Prince and Princess arrived on Tuesday. They were met at the railway station by the Prince Consort, and the Pricesses Alice and Helena. A grand dinner was given in honour of the heir apparent, who had come up from Oxford to keep his birthday.

Among the callers at Windsor Castle have been the Duke of Cam- bridge, Count Bernstorff, Lord and Lady Palmerston. the Count of Paris, the Princess of Salerno, and the Duke and Duchess d'Aumale. The Prince of Wales returned to his studies on Thursday. The guests at the Queen's dinner parties have been the members of her own family only, with their attendants.
