Six,—Will. you allow me to express my joy on reading the conclusion of. your article on Parliament and the Prayer Book? The symbol of the city that liethfour-sejuare has been from my earliest youth through many long years my comfort and hope, but I have never either read or heard it alluded to till now..

Surely it is full of significance for us. Multitudes enter it from every quarter, exactly opposite to each other ; even on the same side there are wide spaces between the gates. Every- thing of glory, and of beauty is there, only nothing that defileth can enter. All manner of precious stones adorn the golden foundations and walls. But the gates, twelve of them, arc all of one precious gem—a Pearl !—I am, Sir, &e.,
