EPISCOPAL BICYCLISTS.

Sin, If (as seems undoubted) clerical gaiters or leggings would he a great convenience to the ordinary clerical bicyclist, is there any sufficient reason why be should not adopt them ? Surely dignitaries have no exclusive right to their use. It is only a modern fashion that attributes any distinctive unofficial dress to Deans and Archdeacons. And the official garb, as we know, is precisely the same for every presbyter, whether he be Dean, Archdeacon, or simple Curate. I can only say, as an entirely undistinguished country vicar, and no bicyclist, that, as a mere matter of comfort I have for some time worn clerical gaiters, none making me afraid.—
