Three little volumes of reprints may be mentioned together. They

are published by Messrs. Dent and Co. These are, Lure Tales from the German, the first and longest being " Dumb Love," a translation from Musaeus by Carlyle, and others by Goethe and Tieck among them ; Weird Tales, also from the German, a volume which we should not recommend as midnight reading to any sensi- tive person; and Classic Tales, by Dr. Haukesworth, with Leigh Hunt's Introduction.
