THE WEN OR WART

SIR.—May I record the delight of another Gael at Colin MacKay's condemnation of the great Wart.

William Cobbett, too, warned us of the great dangers of this great city with its 'sophisticated, complex, unproductive life of Banking, Luxury Goods and idleness.' It has now outgrown all its usefulness and indeed become a great impediment to the broad development of the country.

Of course it is too big, and of course it is a decadent hole and, forbye, it stinks.
