the expiration of leases or sub-leases, the Court is empowered to revise the rent ; they struck out the power to quash leases obtained by undue pressure since th Land Act of 1870; they struck out the provision that within six months after the passing of the Act, any Court before which there was an action against the tenant for debt or damages, might stay a sale of the holding, under writ of execution, pending the decision on the tenant's application for a judicial rent ; and in all those cases where a division took place at all, the Conservatives obtained their usual sweeping majorities.
