A Pronouncing Gazetteer of the World. (Oliver and Boyd.) — This is

a most concise and useful handbook of reference. Its contents em- brace short descriptions of the physical aspects and political divi- sions of different countries, the location of their principal towns, the pronunciation, and in many cases the etymology, of the geographical .names. It also contains thirty-two good coloured maps, and in every way merits the title of a geographical dictionary for popular use.
