The Tomb of Siphtah. By G. Maspero and Others. (A.

Con- stable and Co. 42s. net.)—This volume records the latest discovery in Mr. Theodore M. Davis's excavations. Not much is known for certain about Siphtah and his Queen Tauosrlt. The latter appears to have inherited a claim to the throne, which she shared with her first husband, Siphtah, and Setui II. Their reign seems to have come after the Eighteenth Dynasty. But the tombs found in the course of the excavations yielded some very curious and valuable results, which are fully described here.
