Fate decided upon a different conclusion to the voyage of

the • Wilhelmina across the Atlantic from that which bad been expected. She was so badly damaged by gales of wind that she put into Falmouth for repairs of her own accord. No cruiser stopped her or escorted her. The Government, after holding an inquiry into the nature of her cargo of foodstuffs and its liability to seizure, have decided to confiscate it as contraband, subject, of course, to the derision of a Prize Court. As the captain of the vessel admitted, the feet that the German Government had taken over the control of grain and flour had changed the situation since he began his voyage.
