'NO FIXED ABODE'

S1R,—Regarding your television critic's notice pub- lished in the Spectator last week, I, too, think Henry Kaplan is a superb director—one of the very few capable of achieving such a high standard of pro- duction. He is inclined to agree with me that Peter Forster is a superb critic. We have just read together his brilliant notice of the play No Fixed Abode and were both amazed at the quality of his writing, his perception and his dramatic insight. I read his notices every week: to me he is the only critic of any con- sequence: I agree with almost everything he says. If it is not too presumptuous on my part. may I object. most strongly to one small point?
