Dyslexic

Sir: I have a high regard for Richard West but an even higher regard for my friend Bruce Beresford, whose film about Australian Rules football is called The Club, and not, as Richard West twice has it (6 February), The Game. The film is based on a play by David Williamson, althoughlt is perhaps a blessing that Richard West did not try to say so, else we might have heard about a new Australian playwright called William Davidson. It is also worth pointing out that The Angry Odd Shot is really call- ed The Odd Angry Shot, unless I, too, air' suffering from an inability to words get the in order right. But it is nice to hear that Richard West likes Australia, which needs a few more dyslexic immigrants in order to thicken the racial mix.
